Laura Sehdeva is an instructional designer with a passion for helping others build on their strengths to increase their effectiveness and advance their professional growth. Laura holds a B.A. in English Literature from Swarthmore College and an M.A. in Educational Communication and Technology from New York University. She brings to her work a sound background in instructional design methodology, cognitive science, and adult learning theory.
Laura has seven years' experience developing eLearning courses and blended learning programs in the healthcare and aviation industries. At JetBlue Airways, she was the manager of a group of nine team members responsible for designing and developing eLearning courses, online job aids, instructional video, and print courseware used to train JetBlue employees in all areas of the operation. Laura now works as an independent consultant based in the New York City area. Projects have included development of classroom training and job aids for a new flight booking system (JetBlue Airways) and development of software demos and simulations in Adobe Captivate for use in a self-paced eLearning course (Creative 4 Media/Pfizer).
